Terms & Conditions – General

Bahrain Sports Lab is a laboratory specialized in sports sciences and sports nutrition only. Therefore, it is important that you read the following conditions and be sure that we can help you reach your goal:

1- We provide all our services to healthy people only. If you suffer from any temporary illness, we kindly ask you to book the appointment when you are in full health. As any illness might affect the accuracy of the examinations.

2- We do not have the license nor experience in dealing with diseases. If you want to improve your body shape or improve your sports performance, we will help you without considering any diseases and you will be treated like a normal person.

3- If you are looking for a solution to a medical problem, please see a specialist as we cannot help you at BASPOLAB.

4- Your reservation for any appointment means that you have accepted all the terms and conditions and that you are in full health and are aware that we will not look at any medical problem and will only help you reach your goal in terms of sports.

Terms & Conditions – Appointments

Your appointments are very important to Bahrain Sports Lab (BAPOLAB) team. As we dedicate the lab’s time just for you. We understand that schedule adjustments are sometimes necessary. So, we respectfully request at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment or 6 hours’ notice to reschedule appointments.

Please understand that when you forget, cancel or change your appointment without giving adequate notice as mentioned above, we miss the opportunity to fill this appointment. Customers who are on our waiting list misses the opportunity to receive their services. Since we only take one person per booking period, this behavior puts BASPOLAB in a difficult situation where we incur losses.

Any missed appointment (i.e. missed on time), canceled at least 12 hours before the appointment time or changed within 6 hours of the appointment time will result in a fee equal to 100% of the amount of the booked service. The appointment may be withdrawn from the contract / package or package or collected individually.

Out of our concern for our customers, your appointments are confirmed electronically immediately after booking and a link is sent so that you can add the appointment in your electronic calendar. Moreover, you will be reminded via the registered email 3 days before the appointment in case the reservation was made before that and for the existing reservations for package subscribers. Also, a reminder email and text message will be sent the day before your scheduled appointment from the online appointment scheduling software because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked a while ago. Through this confirmation email, you have a choice of the following at no charge:

Confirm your appointment;

Reschedule/change/modify your appointment from your account via our website (from the My Account page);

cancel your appointment via our website (from the My Account page);

Call or send a WhatsApp message to our office number provided in the customer service email.

Please keep in mind that it is your responsibility to remember the dates and times of your appointment in order to avoid forgetting the appointment which leads to the payment of cancellation fees. Failure to receive an electronic or text notification of your appointments from us is not a sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original confirmation notice was received in a timely manner. A link to automatically upload the appointment to your calendar is provided in each email immediately after booking.

Priority at BASPOLAB will always be for the person who has arrived on time. Any late arrival will shorten your appointment time and will not be reimbursed if the next customer’s scheduled time is reached. 

Emergency cancellation/rescheduling will be considered individually. But it is important to inform us as soon as any case occurs to be considered. You can request not to be charged for a canceled appointment in writing within 7 days if you feel this action is justified. BASPOLAB administration will make a decision to accommodate your request on a case-by-case basis and will respond to you in writing within 7 days.

There are certain conditions that apply to each service in order to obtain the best and most accurate results. Please review it at least one day before your scheduled appointment. Attending the laboratory without applying the conditions may lead to a loss of the appointment. Failure to comply with the conditions leads to poor accuracy of results, and we at BASPOLAB do not accept that we give our clients inaccurate results.

It is mutually understood that if the cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as a power outage, equipment malfunction, an unfortunate accident, or any causes beyond our control; We will reschedule our clients’ appointments and no penalties or fees will apply.

We believe in our policy and system implementation, so it is fair that we respect the same policies for our clients. If we had to cancel a customer less than two hours before the scheduled time, we will respect the same policy and your next appointment will be free. Baspolab reserves the right to amend any scheduled appointment if circumstances arise without the prior consent of the client.

To be clear, the refund will only be approved if 12 hours’ notice was given by the customer for cancellation, otherwise the appointment will be considered approved and will be charged. Customers cannot reschedule and then cancel the appointment, rescheduling is also considered as a charged service. 

This cancellation or amendment policy gives us time to notify our waiting list customers of any availability, in addition to keeping our staff schedules optimized, hence a better service for everyone.
